Men Love White Shirts and Jeans on Women, Who Knew?

Hello dearest fashionistas!

Yesterday I read in Glamour's magazine (it was the men issue) that the one outfit all men (supposedly) love women in is a white t-shirt or tank top and jeans.

Seriously, why do we bother with panty hoses and heels when men don't even care?!

This basically changed my life.

Okay not really.

So, I wanted to try this out and I decided to just wear a white tank top and wait for it.. jeans!

Well, I Savannah-fied it a little bit...

Sorry for not posting lately. I've been busy and I've had some drama going on in my life.

I've been in an argument with my best guy friend for the past couple of days and I've just been sort of upset and not in the mood to post.

Plus I've had a good bit of homework and different things to study for.

So I wore this to school today.

I'm pretty sure no guys looked at me differently. So Glamour, I'm not so sure that survey about what men think women look best in was accurate.

Just saying.

Although I did like this look, casual but cute.

I don't really have any. I guess for awhile I filled in my brows with a pencil and I decided that it was too dark for me later on.

That I can not say that I have.

Sure, it's a nice little town. When I grow up I envision myself in the city though.

Yes, I've been dying to see Black Swan!

I like that when I really need to I can buckle down and get things done.

Someday Summary.

Hello fashionistas,

first of all I wanted to thank you for your condolences.

I really appreciate it.

I thought since I'm not really doing anything today other than watching movies and lazing around that I would do a little someday summary post.

So on Friday I went to Panera with some of my friends after school and then we walked around to some shops and took some silly pictures, so I though I'd put them up on here.

These are my two best friends, Ethan and Lily.

Ethan thought he was funny picking up this giant box that looked like a book and pretending to read it.

My friend Althea and I casually laying on this bed in Bed Bath and Beyond.

All in all we had a great time. After everybody left Lily and I went to the movies and we saw 'The Dilemma' with Vince Vaughn and Kevin James. It was pretty funny.

Yesterday I went to CVS Minute Clinic which is anything but a minute! I was there for like 2 hours with my Nana. While we were there Nana bought me a lipstick, gloss, and some press on nails. After that we ran to the grocery store and picked up some things. Then we picked Lily up and she came over and we walked Colby, watched a movie, and ate dinner.

It was quite a fun day!

Here's what I picked up.

• Revlon Lipstick in 'Pink Pout'
• Revlon Lipgloss in 'Lilac Pastel'
• Revlon Naturally Chic Nails in 'Audrey'

I didn't even realize everything I picked out was Revlon until I got home! Nana bought a lipstick too because it was buy one get one half off.

I had been wanting Lilac Pastel for awhile but I'd never seen it and I saw it and it happened to be 75% off so I got it!

Megan Hearts Makeup on Youtube always talks about Pink Pout and I've been wanting to try it so I also got this!

Yeah the beauty buying ban was pretty much a fail..

Oh well.

Today my Nana left to go back to her house (well her's sisters and then her house) which I'm sad about. I was quite enjoying her being here! I miss her already!

We're all starting to feel better well except for my poor mom.

So I don't have much going on right now, just typing this up and watching some movies/television.

My MAC Virginity Has Been Broken!

Hey fashionistas,

I've been meaning to post this for awhile now..

I went to MAC on I believe December 31st and I popped the MAC cherry!

I wanted to go crazy, but I decided to just buy 2 things.

I bought Twinks and Satin Taupe pan shadows.

I wanted to include swatches but, I still haven't bought another memory card for my camera and phone pictures for swatches just suck!

I bought them in pan form because I had read on somebody's blog (I don't recall what blog though) that MAC pan shadows fit perfectly in ELF's empty quads.

I had said something to my aunt about it and she bought me 3 of them, so I put these shadows in there.

Satin Taupe & Twinks

I've been using Satin Taupe all over my lid with Twinks in the outer corner, with Hustle (from the UD Naked palette) in my crease, and Sin (from the UD Naked palette) in my inner corner, and Virgin (again from the UD Naked palette) as a highlight.

I've been doing this look for almost 2 weeks straight! I've switched it up a bit but not much!

I can't wait to buy some more MAC shadows!

Bad News.

Hey fashionistas,

you all might be wondering why I haven't blogged in a couple of days.

Well my grandfather was very ill and in a hospice facility.

He passed away yesterday and I've been too busy to even think about blogging.

My Nana and dad are out right now arranging everything for the funeral and such.

My sister and I also happen to be sick with a stomach bug, so this weekend has not been a good weekend at all.

Seen as I'm sick right now, I'll be doing a couple of posts and scheduling them to go up throughout the week while we're busy with other things.

♥ I look a lot older than I am, I'm only 15. Many people think I'm way older.

Funny story, one time I walked into Ulta and this grown man came up to me and said "I saw you walking in and I thought that you were just gorgeous and I just had to tell you. Are you married?"

My response, "Um, no I'm 14 (this was in the summer)."

Him: "Do you have a boyfriend? If you do he's one lucky guy, and if you don't then they don't know what they're missing out on."

This is a true story, needless to say I was kind of creeped out!

♥ I watch a lot of TV. I love anything on Bravo, I watch Greys Anatomy, Private Practice, Iron Chef, How I Met Your Mother, Project Runway (etc..)

♥ I've actually met Patrick Dempsey (aka McDreamy from Greys)

I was like 10 or so, here's a picture.

♥ I absolutely love reading. I read a lot! Some of my favorite authors are Jodi Picoult, Sophie Kinsella, Sidney Sheldon, Eileen Goudge. When I was younger I was obsessed with the Nancy Drew series (old, new, whatever!).

Then I found out that Carolyn Keene was just a ghost writer, and it was actually like a group of people who wrote all the books.

♥ I used to be a dog person and then I met Java (my little baby!) and know I'm split! It's 50/50!

We have Colby (and he is crazy) now but, we used to have a black lab he had to put down a little less than a year ago because he had cancer.

♥ I cry at movies, all the sudden my eyes well up and I just can't help it!

♥ I'm actually a natural blonde, I've never had highlights, dye, anything. I get so many questions about my hair!

Hot Pink and Leopard Print.

Hello my dearest fashionistas!

Hope you're having a great day!

I'm very happy because I finished all of my exams today, woo-hoo!

I think I did pretty well on everything.

The geometry exam turned out to be exactly like our study guide (like literally the exact. same. questions. I kid you not).

I lost a night of sleep worrying about it but, all is well now!

Anyways, onto what I wore today.

Tank top: Kohls (love their Sonoma tanks for layering!)

Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt

Shoes: Forever 21

Scarf: Target? I'm not sure, it used to be my sister's.

Earrings: Forever 21

Here's a better picture of the shoes.

I love these but they are ever so slightly to big on me! So being the fashionista that I am (and knowing that Forever 21 doesn't have half sizes) I put tissue paper in the front of the shoes and that helped a lot!
